Running Accomplishments:

I have lost 90 pounds. This more than any thing else is my greatest accomplishment. After my collegiate running career I sadly stopped running and kept eating all the way to 265 pounds. After a lot of soul-searching and even more running I am now 175, the same weight I was in college.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep running. I simply run for greater health. I enjoy the struggle for self improvement.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to amass enough race t-shirts to make blankets for every bed in the house, as well as finally run a marathon. (Oct 15th SoJo Marathon)

I got up very early to do this run before my wife went to work, and it felt like it. I think I sleep-ran through most of it. My wife and I have always taken a fall trip up the canyon to Park City to see the colors change, have dinner, and then walk up and down Main Street. As usual this was well worth getting up early to make sure the run didn't get in the way of the evening.

I only did 5 miles because I am saving up the rest of my taper miles this week for a 15 miler tomorrow.

I love Park City in the fall - the colors are beautiful right now!

Looks like your taper is going well so far. SOJO looks like a great course.

You probably run in Park City quite a bit, but I don’t get up there as much as I would like. However it is defiantly worth making the time for in the fall when all the colors are changing.

Ya, I ran the SoJo To get a feel for the course. It has a couple of good uphills, but the down hill slopes are deceptively fast. I am way excited!
