Running Accomplishments:

I have lost 90 pounds. This more than any thing else is my greatest accomplishment. After my collegiate running career I sadly stopped running and kept eating all the way to 265 pounds. After a lot of soul-searching and even more running I am now 175, the same weight I was in college.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep running. I simply run for greater health. I enjoy the struggle for self improvement.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to amass enough race t-shirts to make blankets for every bed in the house, as well as finally run a marathon. (Oct 15th SoJo Marathon)

Feeling good this morning. I'm looking forward to the speed work tonight.

I was looking for a good lactic threshold workout, and boy was this ever it. I would have liked to pace the workout better to have more of an even negative split to it, but that just didn't happen. I think I would have had better pacing if I could have run the intervals with some other people, but we all know how hard it is to get groups together for workouts, especially mid-week. That being said I am happy with the workout. I feel like it did the job it was designed to do, that is push my lactic threshold.

Ya I know I put the mile pace conversion in the list. I just rarely do 1k intervals, and I am just not familiar with the times.

Nice workout. I'm glad you put the conversion in there. My mind only works in miles as well :) I could never move to Europe.
