Running Accomplishments:

I have lost 90 pounds. This more than any thing else is my greatest accomplishment. After my collegiate running career I sadly stopped running and kept eating all the way to 265 pounds. After a lot of soul-searching and even more running I am now 175, the same weight I was in college.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep running. I simply run for greater health. I enjoy the struggle for self improvement.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to amass enough race t-shirts to make blankets for every bed in the house, as well as finally run a marathon. (Oct 15th SoJo Marathon)

I thought I would give my boy a little different scenery this morning, so I ran around liberty park. What a beautiful morning!

Today I would have normally done some sort of speed work, LT, or Tempo run. But I just didn't feel like my body was up to it yet so I'm going to save it for later. I did round out this run with 4 x 100m strides if that counts.

What a good dad, when I want to give my kids a change of scenery I change the channel.

I'm kidding... I just thought it was funny :)

The change in scenery is more of an attempt to pacify him and keep him from screaming, NO RUN DADDY, NO RUN! I don't know what his deal is, he loved it for the first while. Either way I'm sure not up for any Dad of the year awards.
